New Orleans 1900 to 1920

A nostalgic snapshot of the city as New Orleanians boldly stepped in to the 20th Century. The dawn of the 20th century brought New Orleanians more entertainment choices for both families and adults. Breezy waterfront amusement parks dotted Lake Pontchartrain, while jazz musically defined the locale and her people. Ironically, the early years of two consecutive centuries have found New Orleanians grappling with the issues of drainage, flood control, and clean drinking water.
