Precious Moments

Precious Moments follows the path of life through love, romance, and the courage of a family in tragedy. It is the true story of Norman Lopez and his fight with ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gerig's disease. The story is told from the eyes of his daughter, Arlene, as their family comes together in this time of crisis. Through it all, Arlene discovers more about life and her feelings on death. She finds the strength and courage of her mother, and the undying respect of her father and his infinite wisdom. As the story evolves, Arlene meets Joe D'Alessio the man she will eventually marry. Arlene's love for Joe challenges their relationship, helps her to become more independent and evolve into the woman she never knew.
