Two Wrongs

It is a steamy August day on scenic Block Island off the Rhode Island coast when Cheryl Lancaster, a realtor who handles the summer cottage rentals and also doubles as a volunteer EMT, finds the body of a woman strangled with clothesline and wrapped in black plastic near the North lighthouse. The victim turns out to be a rather unpleasant woman, a bit of a bully and obviously not the favorite resident of the island. Does obnoxiousness merit murder? Cheryl isn't so sure. When another victim turns up, this one rather nice and fabulously wealthy, Cheryl doesn't see anything to connect the victims except clothesline and black plastic. Since Cheryl has an easy avenue through her two jobs to investigate both the native and non-native-vacationers-residents of the island, she decides to find the killer herself. A brave move since Cheryl has a creepy feeling she may be the next victim on the killer's list.
