John Alive!: The Gospel of John Paraphrased for Prayer and Meditation

John Alive! is intended to serve as a modern translation of a unique Gospel in the Bible. Presenting the work as a narrative and portraying the inner emotions and humanity of the major characters, this work calls the reader to reflect on their own relationship with God. Each chapter corresponds to the chapters of John's Gospel, and each section concludes with a reflection in which you frequently share situations from your walk with Christ. The work begins when two members of the Church approach John and ask him to record his life for other believers and, although initially reluctant, John prays to God and begins to explore his experiences with Christ and the other apostles. The work moves beyond John's point of view and encompasses the thoughts of other individuals who encounter Jesus and hear His message. John Alive! strives to make the characters in the Bible appear realistic and show their redemption through their faith in God.
