The Sermon On the Mount

This in-depth, inductive Bible study focuses on the words that Christ spoke in His Sermon on the Mount taken from Matthew 5-7. The lessons examine Jesus’ message that challenges on a wide variety of subjects, including the blessing of obedience. The study leads participants to understand their place in God’s kingdom and to be encouraged to live out their faith in Christ. The in-depth fourteen week study asks students to examine their own relationship with the Lord as well as with others in the church. The lessons seek to equip each student to be stronger and more mature in their walk, as well as united with others in the faith.

The student has various options for completing the study, involving only observation questions followed by application questions, or by completing the remainder of the lesson for an in-depth study. Students might also study only portions of the in-depth lesson beyond the observation questions. The study also offers a reflection in Scripture every day so that the lesson ends with a time of worship that addresses the life of those who follow after Christ.
