Life in Christ: Mediations from the Oratory

Alone of all creation, we are made in the image and likeness of God, and only the angels share with us the gift of free will. As we make our journey through life, we are beset by many obstacles and confronted with endless decisions.

How should we live our lives? How best do we relate to others? In what way should we respond to the one who made us? Freedom is ours, but what is the right way to use this incomparable and terrifying gift?

These meditations explore such questions thoughtfully and prayerfully. In them the concepts of good and evil are examined. Morality and the natural law are explored, and the study the Ten Commandants are used as a basis for living one's life. Discover how the laws of God and of the Church add holiness to our lives, bring us into harmony with others, and enable us to live the life of virtue to which all Christians aspire.
