A Monk for All Seasons

Swami Akhilananda was born in India, became a monk of the Ramakrishna Order at the age of twenty-five, and came to the United States in l926. He became well known for his books on Hindu psychology and was a pioneer in advocating meditation and spiritual practices for mental health.
