Third Foundation Revealed

Can a genetically-engineered group of super-smart, super-attractive, super-nice children survive on their adoptive planet inhabited by bloodthirsty, murderous, super-not-very-nice creatures who roam the surface? Second Foundationers hope to raise their educated, super-smart children to be as nice as possible; unfortunately, being goody-goody nice all the time would mean getting eaten alive if any of them ever dared venture up to their adoptive planet's hellish surface. The Founders had easily foreseen that Katy and the other gentle, cooperative, peace-loving children would have to be, at appropriate times, tough as nails if they were to survive on this carnivorous world inhabited by numerous competing species of bloodthirsty, murdering creatures that roamed the planet's surface. In addition, their nightmarish planet is also populated by large numbers of ferocious, pea-brained, humanoid creatures. Futuristic ingraining methods needed to be developed to allow their pacifist, non-confrontational children to cope with the hellish conditions on the planet's blood-soaked surface without damaging the children's programmed niceness! This is the period in their children's education all Second Foundation parents have come to dread. The disbelieving children cry and wail. Those little ones with exceptionally tender, compassionate hearts become so hysterically distraught that they often beat their heads empathically against the walls and have to be physically restrained. The fate of all the countless human-inhabited planets of the Galaxy now lies in our relatively few, collective hands. If we have committed a heinous crime by daring to play God in order to create an as-close-to-perfect human being as technically possible, then let it be known that to continue with mindless inertia in the same, old, psychologically blind educational tradition would be nothing more than pure, mindless insanity!
