ABOUT THE BOOK: Thirteen-year-old Hannah's mother is dying. Hating the unfairness of her mother's situation, Hannah questions how God could let this happen. Hannah wants to be both kind and good, but uncertainty about the future fills her with despair. Impulsive and daring, Hannah becomes involved in several "escapades" and persuades her best friend Ellie to participate as well. Forced to face the consequences of her behavior, Hannah not only finds her "real" self, but finally discovers a source of courage she didn't know she possessed. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Alice Cravens Moore is a former teacher at the junior high level. Although she has written for various magazines, Finding Hannah is her first novel. She lives in a small town in West Tennessee.
