Zi-Qiu is on his way back to the Heavenly Mountain when he is stopped by Cai-Sheng, who begs him to stay behind. He agrees, but Lady Peony warns him that he will not be able to complete his mission because he has been bewitched by Cai-Sheng's fox demon charms - and has fallen in love with her! Meanwhile, the mysterious priest Bai-Leng uses his special powers to show Yun-Shi how his master was murdered, which convinces him to take revenge on the male Cai-Sheng!
