Bob Hansen accepted short term engineering cost reduction projects for manufacturing companies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Iowa. In the course of his work Bob meets three attractive young women in two of those states.
One of the girls in Iowa is a private secretary for a local law firm and is friendly, outgoing, likes Bob, and is available.
The second girl in Iowa works as a Registrar at the Motel where Bob stays and is pursuing a teaching degree. Having lost her young husband in a tragic traffic accident she appears to remain in mourning and has no intention of remarrying. Her father owns the manufacturing business where Bob works.
Both girls live in a small town near Decorah, Iowa, home of the Vesterheim Museum to which Bob takes each of the girls for day-long visits. The girls and Bob also enjoy bike outings without him knowing where they are going. Both families invite Bob for Sunday dinners and picnics while he is working in their town.
The third woman lives in Lancaster, PAand works for her father who owns the manufacturing business where Bob works. The owner invites Bob to dinners occasionally, along with his daughter who is divorced and has a five year old son. She takes an occasional bike ride alone with Bob, remains friendly, but maintains a distance while retaining the hope that her ex-husband will return to her.
Bob would like to settle down and get married but would have to have a permanent job to do so. The title "Choices and Decisions" is based on his choice of a permanent job, and a decision on which girl to pursue........or vice versa.
This story is based on actual experience.........with a dash of wishful thinking
