Student's Discussion Guide to Esperanza Rising

The student's version of Talent Development Middle Grades' Discussion Guide to Pam Munoz Ryan's Esperanza Rising includes selected vocabulary words, highlights important literary devices and features, suggests literature-related writing and extension activities, and provides space for brief constructed responses to questions on each chapter. A brief biography of Tolkien and suggestions for further reading are also included. This curriculum, developed at Johns Hopkins University, is used in schools across the country.
