We Beat the Street Student's Discussion Guide

The student's version of Talent Development Secondary's Discussion Guide to We Beat the Street: How a Friendship Pact Led to Success, the inspiring story of Drs. Sampson Davis, George Jenkins, and Rameck Hunt, narrated in collaboration with author Sharon M. Draper. The guide includes selected vocabulary words, highlights important literary devices and features, suggests literature-related writing and extension activities, and provides space for brief constructed responses to questions on each section. A brief biography of Ms. Draper and suggestions for further reading are also included. This curriculum, developed at Johns Hopkins University, is used in schools across the country.
