Mary Magdalene's life began as a poor child shunned by those around her because of a disfigurement. Through a series of terrible events, Mary's life deteriorates and leads her to a house of ill repute. At the same time Salina, the wife of the chief magistrate, seeks to follow the command of Jesus: she must find His lost sheep.
