Peaks and Valleys in the Palm of God's Hand

This is a collection of poems that vary in length, type and topic. Some are up, some are down, and a few fall somewhere in between. The goal was not to have them written for publication, and many were never thought to be read. These poems where simply written as an expression of the feelings and thoughts of that moment. They convey the human condition in that some days are joyful, and others filled with sorrow. And that it is day to day for many of us. Poetry is and always has been subjective. Each reader will take something different from what they have read. It is the author s goal, however, that this collection will help to serve as a reminder that whether we are at a peak or in a valley, we remain in the palm of God s hand.
