Description ▲
Prince Pax is an unusual novel about war and aristocracy by George Sylvester Viereck, the only American to be charged with treason in both world wars. The introduction by Richard A. Lupoff places the novel in context for 1933, when Hitler was just rising to power. There's an interview with Hitler by Viereck following the novel. No other novel of the period discusses the role of war as a political weapon as well as PRINCE PAX does. It has elements of science fiction mixed with romance. And as for prescience: Viereck and Eldridge completely nailed the use of drone deathcraft in war.
