Covey Comes Home

Based on a true story, Covey Comes Home characterizes what a love of nature can do. What will happen to a little orphaned baby duck discovered on Dunby pond? Can it survive on its own? Not only will you learn what happens to the little duck but you will also see the value in what grandpa shares with his grandchildren, Casey and Dana. Grandpa lives in a little cabin on the pond that comes alive in the spring with the life, beauty, and sounds of nature. Grandpa takes care of his grandchildren after school each day while their mother works and by example, helps Casey and Dana develop a sense of responsibility to and interest in the magnificent world of nature. Conversely, we see that the grandchildren give grandpa joy and a wonderful sense of pride and self-worth.
