Description

This short collection of texts featuring Chuang Tzu (Zhuangzi), the Taoist sage, is a good introduction to the core concepts of the Taoist worldview. The author, Lionel Giles, was an eminent Victorian scholar of Chinese society, who, most notably, also translated Sun Tsu's Art of War. (Quote from sacred-texts.com)

About the Author

Lionel Giles (1875 - 1958)
Lionel Giles (born 29 December 1875 - died 1958) was Keeper of the Department of Oriental Printed Books and Manuscripts at the British Museum. He is most famous for his 1910 translation of Sun Tzu's The Art of War which has now passed in to the public domain in the USA.
