My Soul's Pain

These are very dark and often disturbing poems that touch on a variety of painful and many taboo subjects, such as child sexual abuse and suicide. They are meant as a way for the author to relieve the pain that has built up inside of her and hopefully for the reader to come along on a journey of despair, depression and ultimately redemption. The poems are written in a way that allows the reader to open a door and enter the writer’s mind and travel with her on her journey. Feelings are honest, nothing is held back and they leave you with a sense of sadness, anger, and overall hope. Hope that at the end we are all survivors.
