Beware of County Fairs

I am forty-nine years old and a single mother of five great kids ages eleven to twenty-eight years old, four girls and one boy. I’ve been an art dealer for ten years working with some of the most accomplished artists in the world. I’ve always been an active mom with my kids playing baseball to softball to volleyball and running around crazy with practices and games three to four nights a week! Been there done that! In 2001 a horrible divorce changed my life to the point that I was being mentally tormented by my ex-husband and his family. I felt in my heart that this story had to be told so other single parents are aware of what could happen after they divorce their spouse. When you have children and divorce your ex, he or she will never be out of your life and never go away! Remember that! When you have five children you think you have seen everything, including measles, chicken pox, broken arms, being stitched up, also ear infections along with the flu and bad colds. All parents need to know the signs of HUS—hemolytic uremic syndrome. E-coli can turn into HUS and then kidney failure. This is a true story that happened to my family in the summer of 2004.
