Lake Swallow

It happened on one of the most popular campgrounds in North Carolina, Baker and Camp. Rodney Daniel Smith, fourteen, visited Baker and Camp with his parents as they would every summer, but this summer everything changed. Rodney hid behind his father, terrified of Sharky, the caretaker, his shark-like eyes, black death, saw a lady running toward them, a baby tight in her arms—her husband was missing. No sign of him was found, as will be with many in years to come. Thirty years later Rodney decided to take his wife and daughter to Baker and Camp to relive some of his past. Their neighbors, the Tates, tagged along. Mrs. Tate, who is psychic, felt an evil on the campground; no one listened. Before Rodney and his daughter were rescued, many deputies lost their lives to the beasts of the campground.
