A Journey Without a Ticket

During the course of a long train journey you meet different people, see different things and go through different experiences. This work is simply a reflection of the people and their life stories that the author heard during the course of his numerous train journeys. The majority of the stories are true, even though intermingled with sprinkles of fictional and imaginary characters and incidents. The story starts with the author running to catch the train to reach his destination. He does manage to catch it but pretty soon realizes that, in his hurry, he forgot to bring his ticket and money. From there onwards it is a live recollection of the people he met, his experiences, the scenes he perceived and the thoughts that ran through his mind. Each character had a story to say, and each incident spoke out the ironic and sarcastic reflection of the contemporary society.
