Flickers of True Destiny

Flickers of True Destiny is a fairytale fantasy about an 8-year-old girl named GG, who is tiny for her age and lives with her aunt in a small town named Pickleberry. Although GG was orphaned when she was just a baby, she inherited a wild imagination and a big talent as an investigator. Living in a small town leaves GG and her friends a lot of time to try out new things. A tree house built many years ago by GG's grandfather is a very important part of her life, but GG doesn't realize just how important, until some very strange things start happening... Nadine Simon has written two children's books, each one based on one of her children. The Treasured Dream was inspired by her son and Flickers of True Destiny is dedicated to her daughter, whose rambunctious personality is all GG. The family lives in Newfoundland, Canada.
