The new edition contains many new features, including an introductory chapter that provides an overview of the course in the first two weeks. The authors created a new annotated outline of the textbook, allowing adopters to see the structure of the book. They also included improved teaching materials that make it easier for adopters of other casebooks to switch. The eighth edition covers new cases on contract issues growing out of the foreclosure crisis, plus new cases from the Supreme Court s arbitration jurisprudence.
