River Ecosystems: Dynamics, Management and Conservation (Earth Sciences in the 21st Century)

Management and restoration of river ecosystems are based on an understanding of the relations between physical, chemical and biological processes at varying time scales. This book examines river ecology, disturbances of the ecology and restoration strategies.
