Eden Crowell was an easygoing person, very quiet and shy. He always had a hard time talking with people, especially girls. He always dressed like a nerd and was picked on and teased by others. One night at a party down at Black Lake, some other kids take a practical joke way too far. And Eden suffers a terrible accident from the practical joke gone bad. However, what people do not know is Eden survived the accident and made a deal with the devil. That same night he meets the spirit of a serial killer whose name is Joseph Brickley. And Joseph promises to bring the ones who harmed him the same pain he feels. Eden becomes addicted to it, and does not only target those who harmed him. He begins to target anyone who is now trying to stop him. Two people know who is doing all the murders. One, his childhood friend, Kacey, starts to have nightmares and visions of all his next victims. Kacey and Patrick join forces to help each other out and stop Eden from doing what he is doing. The police do not believe them; their parents do not believe them either. It is up to them to stop what Eden is doing
