One of my most comforting childhood memories is being around my dad as he tinkered in his garage listening to the AM radio. Whether classic country or a sport, he spent a lot of time in his workshop listening to an unrefined sound from a small box...the radio's only speaker was better at broadcasting static than the program on the manual AM tuner dial...Isn't this scenario a lot like trying to listen to God?
