God of My Comfort is written to encourage and comfort readers. This book is a compilation of the author's personal experiences. Readers will be inspired to know that even though the author faced incredible difficulties, she was able to overcome them through her deep faith in God and trust in His Word. The author writes about various problems she faced, and how she was able to withstand them without compromising her Christian testimony and by simply leaning on God's promises in the Bible. This book will be helpful to new Christians as well as mature Christians, to anyone facing financial problems, sickness, job-related problems, false accusations, discrimination or any other situation beyond their control. Ruth is very active in her local church, where her husband is the pastor. She has been married for 45 years now. She is a mother, a grandmother and a professional nurse. She has a master's degree in theology from International Christian University in Chesapeake, Virginia.
