Earl Lawrence Marion was born in New York City. He is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade at Bien Hoa, Vietnam. Before that he was stationed at Zukiran Prefector, Okinawa. His duties as a clerk typist and paratrooper helped his working with the 1st Special Forces Group on Okinawa in STD Prevention part of the mission for the 97th Civil Affairs Group. Earl Lawrence Marion, began his studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice where his major was Forensic Science and Community Worker. He went on to attend the University Without Walls Degree Program after working with the New York City Police Department as a Police Administrative Aide. Using his past experiences as an Emergency Ambulance Driver at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, and as a Home Health Aide for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Earl managed to get accepted at the Technical College of the Low Country in Beufort, South Carolina, into the Licensed Practical Nursing Program. He obtained his Masters Degree in Health Sciences for Public Health from Trident University International, where he is presently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Degree Program for Health Care Administration and Research.
