Secured Transactions (American Casebook Series)

This book is designed to teach students about secured transactions, and the law (UCC Article 9 as amended in 2010) that governs those transactions while training students in the use and interpretation of statutes. The book contains few cases and instead provides textual explanation followed by carefully sequenced problems that test students’ understanding and provide a basis for classroom discussion. Accompanying the book is a web page with links to more than two dozen electronic exercises for students to work through and help them increase their understanding of Article 9 concepts. Also posted on the web page are additional materials to assist students in answering selected problems, and suggested PowerPoint slides for faculty that diagram most of the problems.
