Description

During the Vietnam war the communist were going throughout Vietnam kidnapping young boys and enlisting them in the North Vietnamese army. There were several attempts by U.S. forces to put a stop to this. 30,000 ft. over North Vietnam is a story about a mission starting in the northern most part of North Vietnam and making a sweep south. The men on this mission represented the army, navy and marine corp. There was no set time or location for extraction and each team was responsible for finding it's own way back to friendly forces. The two soldiers in this story encounter a young orphaned Vietnamese boy early in their mission that puts his life in danger many time as he helps them accomplish their mission. There are no military records that would show this mission ever happened.
