In her cabin in a Northern Michigan woods, Tess, a young widow of a cheating husband, heads outside to change the propane tank, but strange sounds get the best of her. Instead of a bear lumbering through the trees, Ryan Walsh appears, thinking he’s stopped a break-in. When she learns that she knows Ryan’s sister, she is pleased to have company.
