I was inspired to write this book since I started working as an in-home caregiver many years ago. I felt that caregivers, especially in-home caregivers, have been overlooked and taken for granted and many homecare agencies failed to take into account the dilemma that the caregivers face.Whether you are a home health aide, a certified nursing assistant or a homemaker or companion, you can easily find yourself in some or perhaps all of the predicaments that the home care attendants have to experience. Therefore, this book was written for you.Writing this book was no walk in the park. I had to be careful not to emphasize a bias point of view; whether of the caregiver or the homecare agency for which he/she works. During this writing task, I found the need to put on many hats. After all, I am a caregiver and a owner of a homecare agency.Had not been for the team of editors of Book Writing Inc., my inspiration would not have come alive.
