Challenges of Primary Education in Developing Countries: Insights from Kenya

The term wastage is used to refer to a number of problems associated with high attrition or drop-out rates. This text attempts to describe the components of primary school wastage in Kenya, whilst addressing the dual drawbacks of non-enrolment and under-investigated repetition.
