The book starts, when as a child, the author played with friends in and around the archaeological sites of Sterkfontein and Swartkranse in South Africa. From there we follow the routes the Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons might have taken. Thereafter, how the priesthood started, from primitive beginnings, to religions. The book then continues through all belief systems and concludes with the last half-billion years of evolution.
