This is a wonderful book to give as a gift to any girl (or boy) 5 years or older. All girls want to have and give friendship bracelets and this book not only teaches them how, but even provides the thread and little charms. The instructions are not too hard to learn and will enable children to make all kinds of different styles of weaving to make some really pretty bracelets and anklets. I wish they would have had such a book for when I was young! I did make potholders which were a lot of fun and useful too. But this is what is in style for now. I have seen a lot of young children with these bracelets on, so they seem to be pretty popular.
