Intelligent Networks

Providing a concise overview of intelligent networks (INs) for both practising engineers and students in the areas of computer science and telecommunications, this work defines INs, taking into account their relationship with emerging technologies such as B-ISDN, TMN and mobile communications. It also provides a global picture of IN developments as well as pointers to the standards and additional reading for further study.
