This book provides a basic introduction to Borland's Turbo C - one of the most exciting developments to hit the C world. The author's approach is designed for readers trying to learn C on their own in an office or in a home environment. Although it is directed at Turbo C users, the book emphasises where topics or techniques can be applied only to that compiler. All programs provided have been tested on an Amstrad PC1512 under Turbo C. Debugging techniques and real-time processing are covered while two major appendices include the source code for a comprehensive C tool kit (a valuable programmer's aid) and the L-TAAL language (written entirely in C) for computer based training applications.
