After Colette

Amy Balfour looks remarkably like the writer Colette and as a performer she has played Colette in one-woman shows all over the world. She vanishes one day in a taxi, and her cousin, the narrator of the novel, sets out to trace her. In doing so, she reveals how patterns of life are repeated.
