Empowerment Through Reflection: The Narratives of Healthcare Professionals (Reflective Practice)

The demands of the workplace often leave the employee struggling to come to terms with his/her own personality and ability to direct and inform others - those who are senior in rank, those of the same status and junior members of staff. The ability to communicate successfully is a priority in today's working environment and is the subject of this text. Successful communication enables the health care professional to come to terms with decisions concerning his/her role in the health care environment.
