English-Irish Dictionary With Terminological Additions and Corrections

This Irish Dictionary is one of the most complete versions available, and was originally published in 1959 by the Irish Government. In subsequent years, updates were added. The author was a professor at the University College Dublin, where he compiled an impressive archive of Irish Dialects. He set up a language library, the first of its kind in Ireland, and continued his work for several years on a new definitive Irish Dictionary which he never finished.
