The Paradise of Submission: A Medieval Treatise on Ismaili Thought (Ismaili Texts and Translations)

Nasir al-din Tusi, the renowned Shi i scholar of the 13th century, produced a range of writings under Ismaili and later the Mongol patronage. This is a new English translation of his Rawda-yi taslim--the single most important Ismaili text from the Alamut period. In this work the Persian and English texts are edited and published together for the first time. This is Tusi s major Ismaili work and the most important primary source on Ismaili doctrines during the Alamut period.
