Folk Art of France: Decor Folklorique (Milner Craft Series)

An exploration of painted decoration in provincial France. It is a combination of French culture and folk art, presenting the author's interpretations of traditional designs, such as flowers, figures and landscapes from the various regions of France. A history of folk and decorative painting in France is followed by an illustration of regional folk art motifs. There is a collection of 12 projects of country collectables, all with a French theme, step-by-step painting guides, full size patterns, and colour illustrations throughout the book. The projects include: a coffee grinder, pepper mill, cutlery box, watering can, cow bell, clock, lavender pot, and wooden shoes.
