Anger Management for Youth: Stemming Aggression and Violence

Anger Management for Youth was written to assist grades 9 12 group leaders in teaching groups of adolescents to learn anger-management techniques. The major sections of this book include an introduction to Anger Management for Youth for group leaders, Getting Started, Anger Management for Youth modules, and monitoring and check-back tools. The introduction provides a brief history of Anger Management for Youth, key concepts about anger and anger management, and description of the model. It also covers specific leader competencies for both the group counseling and skills training approaches that are integrated in Anger Management for Youth. The overall program goals, objectives, and content of the modules are described and diagrammed.
