Jasper Johns: New Sculpture and Works on Paper

This monograph reproduces Jasper Johns' sculptures and works on paper completed over the last five years, which were included in the exhibition New Sculpture and Works on Paper at Matthew Marks Gallery, New York. The catalogue is illustrated throughout in color and black and white, featuring numerous detail photographs of the imagery and complex textural patterns covering each sculpture's surface. Accompanying the plates sections is a conversation between Jasper Johns and Terry Winters, conducted in the summer and fall of 2010, which takes Johns' new works as the starting point for a broader discussion of his artistic practice.
