Introduction to Scientific Japanese

It is an undeniable fact that the flow of scientific information between the United States and Japan is essentially one-directional; the flow from the US to Japan, with its attendant benefits, is reciprocated by only a meager flow in the other direction. By understanding "scientific" Japanese, perhaps the course could be reversed.
