Suki and the Wonder Star (Suki (Providence House))

Butch and Suki’s sisters think Manuel is wonderful, but Suki is jealous. Manuel is a new boy and a show-off. He knows more about basketball, galaxies, and telescopes than anyone. He can even sing Spanish folksongs and make out-of-this-world candy. After tossing and turning and trying to understand her hatred for Manuel, Suki witnesses God in her dreams. She begins to understand that God loves everyone and His gift of love is something that she can share with everyone as well. She also realizes that she likes being with Manuel better than being against him.
