The Apple Indians

Hershell Frogg has returned to Arrowhead Springs, North Carolina, after he gets the word that that his father, Buddy Ray, the former mayor of the town, had died. Hershell inherits the top of a mountain considered sacred to the local Indians. With the help of his estranged wife, his third cousin, and an Indian legend, Hershell leads a fight to save the Mountain from developers. To save it, Hershell must first raise money to pay back taxes on his land. He finds that saving the Mountain is more difficult than anticipated; he has to clear one obstacle after another, some put in his way by the developers, and the others inadvertently created by himself.
