PDEase2D solves a wide range of engineering and scientific problems by finite element analysis. It solves (non)linear systems of partial differential equations with unprecedented ease, including static, dynamic and eigenvalue problems. PDEase generates and refines grids, performs error analysis and selects time steps. It includes 140+ executable samples of solved problems involving stress analysis, heat transfer, fluids, magnetostatics, and reaction/diffusion, vibration and acoustics. You can rotate, annotate or even animate scientific graphics with PDEase2D 3.0 PDEase2D has a simple input language which avoids the need to specify finite element meshes, unless you wish to override default behavior of the adaptive automatic mesh generator.

PDEase2D Lite is a restricted version, designed to be used by upper level undergraduate students, junior level graduate students, and professional scientists and engineers who work with small finite element problems. PDEase2D Lite offers all the mathematical capabilities of PDEase2D, but it cannot run large problems. The PDEase2D Reference Manual is included with the Lite version.
