Great Northern Ontario Mines

Ontario produces a greater harvest from the rock than any other province in Canada. Most of the paying ore bodies of base metals and all of precious metals are found north of North Bay. This is the story of the Red Lake, Hemlo, Sudbury, Timmins and Kirkland Lake mining camps as seen through profiles of fourteen great mines.
